Specially trained in pain management, Ms. Listowski and Ms. Burchard provide important services, generally taking on many of the same responsibilities as physicians, and serve as liaisons between our doctors and you during your journey to wellness.
Brenda Listowski, ARNP, FNP-BC

Pain Management Consultants
Ms. Listowski received a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration at St. Joseph College in Windham, Maine, and in 2000 completed a Master of Science in Health Care Administration there as well. In 2006, she earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a major in Primary Health Care from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Fla. Ms. Listowski, whose nursing career began in 1995, is a nationally board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
She has held a variety of care and management positions including those with pain management firms, spine specialists, internal medicine, Florida Easter Seal Society and the state of Florida. Ms. Listowski is involved in a number of professional nursing organizations and activities.

Specially trained in pain management, Ms. Brown provides important services, generally taking on many of the same responsibilities as physicians, and serve as liaisons between our doctors and you during your journey to wellness.
Melynda Brown, PA-C
Pain Management Consultants
Ms. Brown is the newest practitioner to Pain Management Consultants, having joined the practice during late November 2015. Ms. Brown brings with her over four years of experience in orthopedics, drug detoxification, primary care, and mental health services. She is particularly interested in orthopedic injuries and psychiatry.
Ms. Brown graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Medical Science and minor in psychology in 2008 from University of South Florida in Tampa. She was an Honor’s College Award recipient from the time she started attending USF in August 2005 until she graduated in December 2008. Ms. Brown worked as a medical secretary while obtaining her Bachelor’s degree. After graduating with her Bachelor’s degree, Ms. Brown was employed as a home health aide until she entered graduate school at Nova Southeastern in Fort Lauderdale for Physician Assistant Studies during June 2009. She regularly made the Chancellor’s list while attending Physician Assistant school at Nova. Ms. Brown graduated in August 2011 from Nova Southeastern University with a Master’s of Medial Science: Physician Assistant Studies. She passed the PANCE with a perfect score and became board certified as a Physician Assistant by the NCCPA in September 2011.
After graduating from Nova Southeastern she relocated to Naples for a year during which time she worked in orthopedics and psychiatry. After moving back to her hometown of Fort Myers, Ms. Brown worked in a psychiatric acute care and detox facility and primary care for over a year, while still being employed in orthopedics per diem. She found a calling in orthopedics and worked with an orthopedics practice for well over 3 1/2 years following her stint in primary care and psychiatry. Ms. Brown joined Pain Management Consultants during the end of November 2015. She continues to work per diem on a regular basis in orthopedics and psychiatry. Ms. Brown is also a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Ms. Brown is a Fort Myers native and graduated from Fort Myers High School. She has two children and a husband. Ms. Brown enjoys spending time with her family, spending time outdoors, eating chocolate, going camping, going to concerts, and playing with her dog.
