We Look Forward to Your Visit
Pain Management Consultants wants each and every visit to go as smoothly and efficiently as possible. To reach that goal, we ask patients to be on time and to bring any paperwork that may be necessary, including insurance card and driver license or other appropriate identification.
- Write down symptoms or problems you are experiencing related to your pain. This way you will have specific notes for your doctor or nurse to help you.
- A list of your prescription medicines, if any, is a good idea. Write down the name of the drugs, the strength of each one, and how many times a day you take the medicine. Include over-the-counter drugs, vitamins and any herbal supplements you may take regularly. Need refills? Write that down as well.
- Be prepared to speak with your medical professional about your health. Be specific and honest. Don’t be embarrassed, because we’ve probably heard it all already!
Your Appointment Day
After making your appointment, you will receive a call two days before you are scheduled to see us to remind you of the day and time we are expecting you. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible by calling us on a weekday (excluding holidays) between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
In the interest of efficiency and respect of other patients’ appointment times, we ask all of our patients to please be on time.
